Pastor Jim Jiamah V. Adil is currently the Adventist Mission Director & AMR Coordinator of South Philippine Union Conference. Before being called to such posts, he served as professor of missions and evangelism at Mountain View College. 

Pastor Adil comes from a Maguindanon-Islamic family background. He is married to Myrlie Lim-Adil, who is a registered nurse and a registered librarian, and is currently the Chief LIbrarian of Mountain View College. Their marriage is blessed with 3 children who are already professionals. 

Pastor Jim is a member of the research team commissioned & funded by the General Conference to conduct a study on spiritual life patterns of SDA’s all over the world in 2013, 2017, and 2021. He is also a member of the Book Project Committee that is commissioned by the SSD Education Department to write textbooks that will be used in Adventist schools with Muslim students. His dissertation for Doctor of Missiology (Intercultural Studies) is on promising pathways of Christian mission through the worldview, folkways, and felt needs of Muslims.
