Marvin Salazar stood attentively at the digital photography station, diligently jotting down notes on his pad while the lecturer delved into the fundamental rules of digital creativity and photography. Despite the lack of a microphone and the bustling noise from the crowd, Salazar made a conscious effort to focus intently, positioning himself near the lecturer to catch every word.

“Living in the mountainous region of Davao, it’s difficult for us to keep up with the trends of society. Now it’s an opportunity to learn. Apart from that, I’ve planned to share my experience here with my friends when I return home,” he explained. 

Salazar loves photography and believes that a single photo can convey God’s love. 

“Like other missionaries who’ve travelled to various places to share the gospel, I’m driven by a strong desire to do mission work through photography. My purpose is to reach out to people in distant places and touch their lives,” he added. 

Salazar's fervent passion and unwavering dedication serve as a powerful reminder to wholeheartedly embrace the great commission with boundless enthusiasm, creativity, and a hunger for learning. It is imperative to employ all accessible avenues to spread the profound love of Jesus. Guided by the Holy Spirit, the steward's actions can bring about a meaningful impact in the lives of others, ultimately guiding them towards the path of Jesus' teachings.
