Day 3 Highlights of the Multiple Intelligence Camp

On the third day, Pastor Namanya started with messages discussing the challenges encountered by followers of God in a world where persecution, sickness, and death prevail. He emphasized that true peace is not found in material possessions but rather in a relationship, stating, "In essence, if you are connected to Jesus, it is all about Jesus. This relationship brings peace, an inner peace."

In the evening devotional, he affirmed that during times of suffering and discouragement, God will be with His people. He said, "When you're praying for something, expect amazing ways in how God answers prayers." So, in moments of suffering, he encouraged everyone to stay positive, assuring that all would be well. There is hope that God will grant victory, and it should be claimed.

On this day, students eagerly returned to their respective camps for another day of learning and fun. In the Mathematics Camp, participants organized a math-related contest, including the challenging Rubik's Cube competition to find the quickest solver. Over at the Science Camp, students immersed themselves in experiments and science-related games. Meanwhile, those inclined towards sports showcased their skills at the expansive sports center next to the grandstand. In the Digital Arts Camp, students embarked on an exciting visit to the media center room, currently occupied by the Hope Channel crew of the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference. This unique opportunity allowed students to witness the technical aspects of production. Undoubtedly, many students actively participated in various engaging activities within their respective camps.

Among the participants was 11-year-old Stephanie Gale Wilson from Labason Adventist Elementary School, who expressed her love for video editing. Having enjoyed watching reels in the past, Stephanie honed her skills using video editing tools. "I dream of becoming a nurse, but I also love learning other skills like video editing," she shared with enthusiasm.

Stephanie's enthusiasm for both healthcare and technology reflects the diverse interests nurtured at the camp, where students are motivated to explore a wide range of skills and fields.

Then, after the evening devotional messages, students from different schools presented a Bible drama where characters from the Bible came to life on the Alumni Church stage. Finally, students went home after experiencing a knowledge-filled but enjoyable day and will be ready to face day four with new learning experiences and exciting moments with old and newfound friends.
