Hope Channel South Philippines is set to Sprint to 2026 with Renewed Mission and Commitment

Hope Channel South Philippines has officially begun its sprint to 2026, marking a renewed season of purpose and dedication for the faith-based media ministry. Anchored in its enduring slogan, “Sharing Love, Changing Lives,” the network continues its mission of delivering uplifting programs, creating meaningful online content, offering healing to broken spirits, and promoting a positive, hope-filled perspective to its audiences.

More than a slogan, “Sharing Love, Changing Lives” has become the guiding principle for Hope Channel’s content creators, hosts, technical staff, on-air talents, and management. It shapes their words, actions, plans, and projects as they work together daily to share messages of faith and encouragement.

As the organization strengthens its technical readiness for the days ahead, Station Manager Pastor Johnster Joe Calibod remains equally committed to nurturing the spiritual well-being of the network’s “hope bearers.” In a full-day gathering, around 50 to 60 volunteers—representing 13 regularly airing weekly programs—came together to renew their commitment to the ministry and reflect on the vital role they play in sharing hope through media.

The event featured a series of insightful and encouraging sessions from invited speakers. Dr. Alevir Pido discussed Personal Branding versus Church Branding, emphasizing the importance of aligning individual identity with the broader mission of the church and its media outreach. Her message encouraged those involved in media ministry to refine their personal contribution as part of the overall church brand.

Dr. Oliveth Pelagio, a registered psychologist, addressed the emotional and mental demands of ministry work. She offered practical steps to help ease the daily burdens carried by hope bearers, providing guidance on maintaining balance and well-being amid responsibilities.

Additional words of encouragement were shared by Pastor Roxie Pido, Communication Director of the South Western Philippine Union Conference (SWPUC); Mr. Nuelin Sanes, Treasurer; and the Development Director for Hope Channel. They collectively reminded the team that media ministry is not merely a task, but a sacred and holy calling that requires dedication, integrity, and faith.

Pastor Johnster Joe Calibod concluded the gathering by setting a tone of gratitude and inspiration. He expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, affirming that those who serve at Hope Channel are richly blessed by God and, in turn, are called to be a blessing to everyone they encounter in the coming year.

Participants shared positive impressions following the gathering, reflecting the impact of the day’s messages across different teams. Andro, one of the technical staff said,  “the topics reminded us that even behind the cameras and equipment, our work is part of God’s mission. It renewed my sense of purpose and excellence in serving through media.”

Kyrl, one of the volunteer-talent expressed renewed passion, saying, “Attending this assembly helped me remember why I said yes to this ministry. Every word we speak on air can bring hope and healing, and that responsibility is both humbling and inspiring.”

Meanwhile, a member of the social media team highlighted the relevance of the discussions to digital ministry. “The talks helped us see that every post, caption, and video we share online carries the same message of hope. It challenged us to be intentional and authentic as we reach people beyond the screen,” the team member shared.

The assembly concluded on a deeply spiritual note as each participant was prayed for, leaving the group strengthened and united. With renewed faith, clarity of purpose, and hearts burning with hope, Hope Channel South Philippines moves forward together into 2026—ready to continue sharing love and changing lives.
