Amid pandemic, NCMC and NEMM Stewardship Departments promote how to be good stewards
Overseeing the growth of their flock as Christ's disciples, Stewardship Directors of both North Central Mindanao Conference (NCMC) and Northeastern Mindanao Mission (NEMM) bring about the planning and implementation of the Stewardship Seminars that promote church members' responsibility for Discipleship, Disciple-making, and Stewardship.
Native Chicken Raisers
Fully aware and in full support of the government's social distancing health protocols to halt the spread of Covid-19, NCMC Stewardship Director, Pastor Hanani Nietes, decides to hold in clusters a month-long livelihood seminar on raising native chickens. And with the special participation of Mr. Willie D. Nacalaban Sr., Senior Science Research Specialist, SG 19, of the Department of Agriculture Region 10, this successful seminar that kicks off on February 3, 2021 and concludes on the 3rd of March same year, is attended by 163 native chicken raisers and enthusiasts.
Stewardship Seminar With Level 1 Certification
Inspired by the previous success of the livelihood seminar, Pastor Nietes hosts yet another Stewardship Seminar With Level 1 Certification. The seminar which started on March 10 and ended on April 7, 2021 inspired its audience on the following topic: Becoming Jesus' Disciple, Disciple making, Biblical, Personal Wealth, and Financial Stewardship, Stewardship Journey in The Gospel of Matthew, and Generosity. Over a hundred attendees receive a certificate for having completed the said seminar.
Week of Revival
Simultaneous with the aforementioned seminars, NCMC District Pastors and Leaders went to social media to connect with each of their local churches. A Stewardship Week of Revival on March 7 until March 13, 2021 has been staged across all churches within the conference. God is really good, Covid-19 prohibitions have only halted “in person” gatherings but not the virtual ones that could even help maximize attendance and efficiency of our church meetings.
Seeking First the Kingdom
Undaunted by community quarantines and lockdowns, Pastor Rogelio Jimenez, Northeastern Mindanao Mission (NEMM) Stewardship Director, is very passionate towards molding good stewards despite our current bilious status quo through his regular Friday night radio program "Ang Pagkapiniyalan" (The Stewardship). This program airs regularly on Hope Radio-Butuan and on FB pages officially handled by NEMM.
Hope Beyond Tomorrow
Following the evangelistic campaigns led by their respective church Stewardship coordinators on June 6-12, 2021, an online evangelistic initiative was launched by the Treasury Department.
