Hope Channel South Philippines continues to expand its mission of nurturing determined young talents and strengthening spiritual growth through its involvement in a 10-day Music and Media Camp held in New Zealand.

Each year, churches across New Zealand send their youth to this camp, which aims to enhance their spiritual well-being through music and media ministry. This initiative opens a meaningful platform for the youth to hone and maximize their creative talents while deepening their spiritual growth. 

During the ten-day camp, participants were trained in singing hymns, playing various musical instruments, and practicing discipline to achieve balance in their daily lives. Media campers also played a significant role in amplifying the message by producing recorded videos and online content that inspired a wider audience. Their schedule also includes Bible study, daily prayer, and maintaining cleanliness in their designated areas. These practices aim to reinforce character development and teamwork. 

The participants play a vital role in amplifying the impact of the camp’s musical productions. They are responsible for producing recorded videos and creating online content, helping extend messages of hope and inspiration to a wider audience beyond the camp.

Notably, 20% of the participants are Filipino-New Zealand citizens, highlighting the growing presence of Filipino youth in international faith-based initiatives. 

Key facilitators of the program include Mr. Kyrie Pepaña, who leads the Music Production training for orchestra and choir. Meanwhile, Andro and Charm Senining oversee the media workshop and spearhead the music video production in collaboration with the media campers, working closely with Hope Channel New Zealand. 

Through this initiative, Hope Channel South Philippines reaffirms its commitment to empowering the youth, not only as skilled musicians and media practitioners, but also as individuals grounded in faith, discipline, and service.
