Northeastern Mindanao Mission Activates 27 Venues for World No Tobacco Day
On May 31st, the global community observed World No Tobacco Day (organized by the World Health Organization), and the Northeastern Mindanao Mission (NeMM) was right at the forefront of the movement!
Under the dynamic leadership of Pr. Jessril Gallo from the Health Ministries Department, the Adventist Community across the 3 provinces of the Caraga Region mobilized for an unforgettable day of advocacy and action.
Here is a look at the incredible impact made together:
- 27 Venues activated simultaneously across the region.
- Close to 2,000 passionate participants standing up for health.
Trading Smoke for Substance
Smokers were invited to trade in their cigarette packs for wholesome wellness gift packs and fresh fruits. It wasn't just a symbol—it was a tangible, delicious taste of a healthier lifestyle.
Why We Move
The Seventh-day Adventist Church wholeheartedly champions campaigns like World No Tobacco Day because we believe in fostering total wellness—mind, body, and spirit.
Thank you to every volunteer, runner, officer, and community member who chose life, health, and a smoke-free tomorrow!
