Day 2 Highlights at the Multiple Intelligence Camp

The second day of the Mindanao-Wide Multiple Intelligence Camp featured inspiring messages about God's might and fostered knowledge enrichment among students assigned to their respective camps.

The day commenced with a morning devotional, emphasizing God's power to allow the Holy Spirit to connect with one's heart and transform lives. Pastor Dan Namanya passionately encouraged attendees to connect with Jesus through His Word, promising a life-changing experience with the power of Jesus.

"I invite you to connect with Jesus through His Word so that you can experience His power in your life," he appealed.

Following the morning devotional, students were directed to their respective camps, spanning Science, Mathematics, Journalism, Traditional Arts, Digital Arts, Stage Arts, Speech Arts, Aqua Splash, Research, and Health Sciences.

Sherry Joy Puig from Kulasihan Adventist Elementary School found herself in the Blood Typing class, where she bravely performed a blood typing test. Reflecting on the experience, she shared, "I was scared because I didn't expect to be part of this, but it was fun. I am looking forward to participating in the class until it ends."

Meanwhile, Yannie Elaine Barias from Dolefil Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School felt nervous while practicing her role as a reporter for the digital arts class. However, she persevered and performed her role well. "I'm so nervous! But I did it," she said gleefully.

The camps concluded as planned at 3:30 PM and will resume tomorrow at 9:30 AM. During the evening devotional, Pastor Namanya focused on Matthew chapter 28, illustrating God's power through love and the invitation to draw closer. He called upon selected audiences to join him on stage, symbolizing Jesus and His followers. As they moved together, he encouraged them to invite friends, highlighting the importance of sharing the message of Jesus with their loved ones.

Wrapping up the day, a Cultural Night unfolded at the grandstand, where the presentations by students showcased the diverse cultures of Mindanao. The second day at the camp uplifted students in aspects of mental, physical, social, and spiritual well-being.
