SwPUC Youth Department holds Camp, rebuilds altars and friendships

The Youth Department of the South-Western Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) conducted the 2025 Friendship Camp across various sites within the union territory from May 16 to 24, 2025. Themed "Rebuild the Altar," the camp gathered young people from different missions and conferences under SwPUC for a program that combined spiritual, physical, and educational activities. The one-week event resulted in 1,449 baptized souls.

Participants took part in Bible study sessions, obstacle courses, team-building exercises, camp cookery, first aid and bandaging challenges, as well as songs and yells. The program was designed to encourage spiritual growth, skill development, and friendship among the youth.

Pastor Junifer Colegado formally acknowledged the individuals and organizations involved in the success of the event.

“I extend my sincere appreciation to the Youth Director for his leadership in facilitating the SwPUC Friendship Camp 2025,” said Pr. Colegado. “I also express my gratitude to the SwPUC Administration, pastors, and departmental directors for their support of the program. Appreciation is likewise extended to the ZPM Adventist Youth Ministries (AYM) for their contributions. We acknowledge the safety and order observed throughout the event.”

The camp was conducted in designated sites chosen by each mission and conference under SwPUC, allowing wide participation across the region.
