Interfaith Dialogue Takes Center Stage at Preach Seminar

A diverse group of 25 attendees from 11 religious denominations gathered for the Preach Seminar on October 15, 2025, at the Central Mindanao Mission in Valencia City. This event served as an important platform for sharing insights and fostering interfaith understanding among ministers and leaders from various backgrounds.

The seminar featured two esteemed guest speakers: Dr. Reuel U. Almocera, PhD., a retired professor from the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS), and Dr. Remwil R. Tornalejo, the president of Mountain View College. Both speakers delivered inspiring, thought-provoking messages that highlighted the critical roles of pastors as preachers, teachers, and disciple-makers in their communities.

Dr. Almocera and Dr. Tornalejo emphasized the necessity of a strong biblical foundation, practical ministry approaches, and spiritual leadership that resonate beyond denominational confines. Their insights encouraged attendees to reflect on their own practices while fostering an environment of unity in faith and service.

Participants expressed gratitude for the rare opportunity to learn from such distinguished speakers and engage in meaningful dialogue. The seminar not only enriched their understanding but also reinforced the importance of collaboration and mutual respect among different faith traditions.

Pastor Abundionito Cayme, SwPUC Ministerial Secretary, expressed his joy in seeing how our church extends and opens up our ministries to other denominations through this interfaith dialogue.

As the event concluded, attendees left with renewed motivation to strengthen their ministerial work and to foster unity among their diverse congregations, embodying the spirit of interfaith dialogue and collaboration.
