Cagayan de Oro City – August 19, 2025 - Mountain View College (MVC) has once again showcased its commitment to excellence in education by receiving multiple awards from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region X during the prestigious 1st Northern Mindanao TES Congress held at the Chali Resort and Conference Center in Cagayan de Oro City.

The event celebrated the dedication and quality of various Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the region, with MVC distinguished by three significant accolades:

Rank 3 – CHED Region X

A.C.E Award (Accuracy, Consistency, and Efficiency in Report Submission - UNIFAST Unit)

This esteemed recognition acknowledged MVC's outstanding performance in the timely and accurate submission of required reports to the UNIFAST Unit of CHED Regional Office X for the academic years 2023–2024 and 2024–2025.

Rank 4 - Top Performing School in Producing Licensure Examinations Topnotchers.

MVC demonstrated its prowess in preparing students for licensure examinations, producing exceptional board examination topnotchers, including:

Top 2 in the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination (August 2024)

Top 6, Top 9, and Top 10 in the Nurse Licensure Examination (May 2024 and May 2025)

Rank 5 - Top Performing School in Various Licensure Examinations

The College's consistent excellence in board exams was further highlighted with impressive results in various licensure examinations, including:

Dr. Alevir P. Pido, the Education Director of the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) on behalf of Dr. Remwil Tornalejo, President of Mountain View College. She was joined by Mr. Jhonley J. Tero, the Marketing Director of MVC. Their presence and receipt of these awards exemplifies the collaborative efforts of the Mountain View College community in achieving these significant milestones.

In addition to receiving awards, CHED Region X recognized the MVC TES Grantees, who showcased their talents during the Congress with a special performance, demonstrating not only academic excellence but also artistic flair.
