South Philippine Union Conference (SPUC) premiers its second season of the special program My Journey with God. 

My Journey with God (MJWG) is an online initiative by the church that aims to invite people to have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and to bring faith into the viewers’ homes in these trying times. The series, which streams daily from October 10 to November 20 at 7:00 to 8:00 PM via Hope Channel South Philippines’ Facebook, YouTube, local TV channel, on radio, and also via Hope Channel’s national broadcast on GSat 37, is a treat of soulful serenades and uplifting music, and life-changing sermons. 

MJWG opened with Pastor Jerry Patalinghug, Central Mindanao Mission President, speaking for the entire week with the topics: Inspiration of the Bible and Fall and Restoration of Man.

The premiere week garnered 163,739 people attending in actual venues like homes, churches, and halls that are tuned to the live-stream broadcast of the Season 2. Some are even on the streets tuning in through their smart phones! In breakdown, there are 113,653 Adventists attendees who also drew 50,086 attendance from invited friends. Those totals yield 2,559 baptisms by the end of the week.

If this kind of number is what the season premiere week is doing, the church is excited for the coming weeks.
