South Philippine Adventist College holds ground breaking ceremony for church building project

Ground has been broken in for the South Philippine Adventist College dream church today, March 9, 2022. The sacred edifice will be built on the site where the former La Sage Auditorium was located. Church leaders from eight Missions/Conferences in Mindanao shrugged off threat of heavy rain in Davao del Sur area just to witness this historic groundbreaking ceremony.

For his part, Elder Caderma was all candid and intentional in his words by telling all people in-charge of the project that is now high time to act on the “dream” and let it roll starting this week or next week. He inspired everyone in attendance that “it is God who set this project” as His sanctuary for His people in this area cueing from Nehemiah 46:10.

Following Elder Caderma’s dedicatory prayer, Elder Palomares, Elder Caderma and Dr Catolico led out in the lowering of the time capsule before the Presidents of the eight Missions/Conferences including the first batch of donors who were invited to break ground.

This dream project is expected to accommodate around 3,000 attendees with structures that include a receiving area, mother and music rooms, and an upper level showing the balcony.

This church project is hoped to become the center of influence in the community where it stands.
