Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) Education Department Grants Two Presidential Awards to Mountain View College for Outstanding Performance in the 2023 and 2024 Nursing Licensure Examinations

Mountain View College was presented with two Presidential Awards by the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) in recognition of achieving the 4th and 6th ranks among the top-performing schools in the Nursing Licensure Exam in 2023 and 2024, respectively. The awards were given during its 89th Commencement Exercises on June 2, 2024. Ms. Danielle Ramonal Cena, a 2023 MVC BSN Graduate who secured the 6th position in the 2024 Nursing Licensure Examination, also received this esteemed award. The President, Pr. Jerry Patalinghug, and the Executive Secretary, Pr. Max Dante Obbus, of the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference, bestowed this honor. 

Further, this prestigious Presidential Award is a newly adopted initiative by the SwPUC Education Department. It is specifically crafted to motivate Adventist HEIs within SwPUC to strive for academic excellence in the licensure examinations administered by the Philippine Regulatory Commission. Adventist Education also puts a premium on the pursuit of a well-rounded life, critical thinking, and a dedication to service. Recipients of these awards, both the institution and the examinee-awardee, were acknowledged with monetary tokens and plaques of recognition as part of this prestigious accolade.

Mountain View College has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance in the Nursing Licensure Examinations over the years. Consequently, its graduates are highly sought after, both domestically and internationally, as a result of their holistic nursing education.
