Media missionaries from various missions and conferences within Mindanao convened at the SPUC headquarters in Cagayan De Oro City on November 24-25, 2023, commemorating the thirteenth anniversary of Hope Channel South Philippines. The gathering, attended by mission and conference administrators alongside their respective communications directors, commenced with the Commissioning Ceremony on Friday night, November 24. During this ceremony, media missionaries reaffirmed their commitment and passion for disseminating the message of hope and love through mass media.

Pantukan, Davao de Oro – Ministerial spouses from the Northern Davao region gathered for a spiritually enriching two-day retreat at the serene Bong Lantaya's Haven of Rest from November 10 to 11, 2023. The event featured distinguished lecturers, including Ma'am Victoria Besin, WMC MSA Coordinator, Ma'am Glen Lagunday, CMM MSA Coordinator, Ma'am Zenaida Necesario, NDM MSA Coordinator, and Ma’am Jill Palomares, SPUC MSA Coordinator who shared their expertise as Children's Ministries Directors and Ministerial Spouses Association Coordinators from various Missions and Conferences.

The recently concluded Mission-wide Sabbath School and Personal Ministry Certification Level 2 event, which took place from November 1-4 at the Matutum View Academy Gym, brought together SMM administrators district pastors, Sabbath School and Personal Ministry leaders, and one church elder per cluster for an enriching and educational experience.

In a bid to strengthen the media and marketing capabilities of Adventist hospitals in Mindanao, the SPUC Communication Department and Hope Channel South Philippines joined forces to conduct a specialized training program for the marketing and media officers of three prominent healthcare institutions. The training, which spanned from November 13 to 14, focused on empowering the participants with essential skills for effective media communication and content creation.

Tagum City - With an atmosphere brimming with faith and devotion, a remarkable spiritual revival took place in Northern Davao from October 6-21, 2023. Titled "It Is Written: The Hour Has Come," this awe-inspiring event series saw a total of 646 individuals being baptized.

Hosted by the Tagum Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church and held across 11 sites, the gathering served as a crucial link in fostering district unity and triggering a profound spiritual reawakening.
