Bacus. This surprise event, meticulously organized by the dedicated lady workers of the SwPUC, reflected the profound admiration and respect garnered by a woman whose remarkable 43-year journey in ministry has been characterized by unwavering commitment and a transformative impact on countless lives.

SwPUC Concludes Constituency Meeting, Elects New Leaders

The Constituency Meeting of the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) officially concluded today after opening on November 17, Cagayan de Oro City. Convened once every four years, the session reviewed key policies, affirmed the church’s direction for the next quinquennium, and elected the new set of leaders who will guide the union forward.

SwPUC Celebrates the Spirit of Prophecy & Adventist Heritage

It was a spiritually historic and yet fun week for the elementary schools, academies, colleges, and hospitals of SwPUC as they celebrated the Gift of Prophecy and SDA History. Focusing on the theme “Seeing the Past, Present, and Future Through the Spirit of Prophecy Lens”, various activities were conducted that reinforced trust in the testimonies of Ellen G. White as well as reminisced about the sacrifices and contributions of the pioneers to the Advent movement.

The Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) and the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) have formally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement to launch an offsite graduate education program aimed at expanding academic opportunities for SwPUC employees on November 17, 2025.

Philippine Red Cross awards Pr. Teddy Ba-ang for donating one gallon of blood

Pr. Teddy Ba-ang, the director of the SwPUC Health Ministries Department, was given a certificate of appreciation during the Blood Donors Awarding Ceremony by the Philippine Red Cross. The recognition was for his commendable effort in donating a minimum of one gallon of blood to the Philippine Red Cross.

The ceremony, hosted by the Mindanao Regional Blood Center of the PRC, recognizes and appreciates blood donors and partners with awards such as Blood Galloner pins, certificates, medals, and plaques. The event was held at Centrio Mall in CDO on March 19, 2025.

SwPUC celebrates 150 years of Adventist Education, second largest worldwide

The Education Department of the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference celebrated 150 years of Adventist education, beginning in 1874 with the establishment of Battle Creek College in Michigan, United States. With 9,845 educational institutions in over 100 countries, the Seventh-day Adventist Church is recognized as the second-large education system in the world today.
