Hope Channel South Philippines continues to expand its mission of nurturing determined young talents and strengthening spiritual growth through its involvement in a 10-day Music and Media Camp held in New Zealand.

Each year, churches across New Zealand send their youth to this camp, which aims to enhance their spiritual well-being through music and media ministry. This initiative opens a meaningful platform for the youth to hone and maximize their creative talents while deepening their spiritual growth. 

Interfaith Ministry (IM) practitioners gathered for a 10-day certification seminar from April 6-16, 2026, at the SWPUC Compound, aimed at strengthening friendship and understanding between Adventists and Muslim brethren.

Music became a powerful bridge of compassion during the benefit concert organized for the 12th anniversary of Panimbaya sa Kabuntagon World.

Mountain View College (MVC) celebrated a significant milestone with the investiture of its Board of Trustees and the installation of its newly appointed officers. The solemn ceremony took place on March 16 at the MVC Pioneer Church.

In a heartwarming outreach initiative, the Adventist Mission Department of the Southern Philippines Union Conference (SwPUC), under the leadership of Pr Elvin Salarda, took significant steps to support the local Muslim community by distributing 600 bags of fruits and assorted food items at five mosques in Cagayan de Oro City on the sabbath afternoon of March 14 and continued the following day .

Adventist Medical Center College (AMCC) held its first-ever Investiture and Dedication Ceremony at the AMCC Campus Church, formally dedicating its newly installed officers and reaffirming the institution’s commitment to faith-based leadership and academic excellence.

The historic event gathered administrators, representatives from sister institutions, church leaders, and local government officials, marking a significant milestone in the college’s continuing mission to serve both church and community.

Leadership Dedicated for Service

The OneVoice27 Initiative was officially launched by the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) Communication Department in the Central Mindanao Mission in Valencia City on March 5-6, 2026. This initiative aims to develop effective strategies for identifying mission targets by utilizing both digital platforms and the church's regular evangelistic programs. The goal is to present a unified message clearly and precisely.

The Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) provided relief assistance to 250 families hit hard by Typhoon Basyang, which struck Iligan City on February 5–6, 2026. The relief effort took place on March 3, 2026.

About 1,300 church leaders and Care Group leaders from three provinces gathered for the Mission Reach: Care Group Empowerment Seminar, a joint initiative of the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference and the Northeastern Mindanao Mission. The event served both as an orientation to the Southern Asia-Pacific Division’s quinquennial theme “Mission Reach” and as an empowerment seminar designed to equip church leaders to strengthen and multiply Care Groups as centers of discipleship and mission.
