Day 4 Highlights of Multiple Intelligence Camp

On the fourth day, Pastor Namanya discussed the topics of living and dying. He pointed out that while education teaches us how to live, including using our talents and becoming better people, it often doesn't cover the important aspect of learning how to face death. He also stressed the significance of not just knowing how to live but also understanding how to approach death gracefully. He used the analogy of a torch in the Christian life, urging believers to keep it burning for Jesus. He emphasized, "Let it be the light of this world. Have a passion for Jesus."

Day 3 Highlights of the Multiple Intelligence Camp

On the third day, Pastor Namanya started with messages discussing the challenges encountered by followers of God in a world where persecution, sickness, and death prevail. He emphasized that true peace is not found in material possessions but rather in a relationship, stating, "In essence, if you are connected to Jesus, it is all about Jesus. This relationship brings peace, an inner peace."

The Mindanao-Wide Multiple Intelligence Camp that everyone has been waiting for has finally started at Mountain View College. The camp is hosting 3,111 enthusiastic students mostly from grades five and six across ninety (90) SDA elementary schools in Mindanao. The camp is set against the beautiful backdrop of Mountain View College and runs from February 11 to 17 for a whole week. The event promises a unique combination of educational enrichment and spiritual nourishment.

The second day of the Mindanao-Wide Multiple Intelligence Camp featured inspiring messages about God's might and fostered knowledge enrichment among students assigned to their respective camps. 

The day commenced with a morning devotional, emphasizing God's power to allow the Holy Spirit to connect with one's heart and transform lives. Pastor Dan Namanya passionately encouraged attendees to connect with Jesus through His Word, promising a life-changing experience with the power of Jesus.

Adventist Community Celebrates Success of Young and Singles Professionals Convention

On February 10, 2024, the Western Mindanao Conference saw a successful conclusion of the Adventist Youth and Singles Professionals Convention, which was attended by a diverse group of members from various demographics. The Northeastern Mindanao Mission recently hosted a discipleship seminar called “Mission Refocus: Training on Discipleship, Evangelism Lifestyle, and Care Group Ministry". The seminar was held from February 1 to 3 at the Northeastern Mindanao Mission Academy and was attended by 600 delegates, including church elders, Sabbath School superintendents, and local church leaders in health, youth, and stewardship ministries from the provinces of Agusan del Norte, Surigao Del Norte, and Dinagat Islands.
