Drawing upon Acts 5:14-15, which describes individuals seeking the healing shadow of Peter, Pastor Adil presented a pivotal inquiry: "What shadow do I cast? Is it therapeutic or toxic?"

The Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) has officially commenced its Midyear Meeting, which will run from May 26–28, 2026, at the SwPUC Compound. Gathering lay executive committee members alongside mission and institutional administrators, the event is anchored on the bold theme, "Mission First," and the driving slogan, “Mission Reach 2026: Reaching the Unreached.” This highly anticipated assembly features a packed agenda of critical reports, leadership directives, and the approval of new strategic plans to align the union's future efforts.

The Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC), in partnership with Manila Adventist College, hosted Legal Talk 2.0 on May 4–5, 2026. The event brought together 150 leaders from various colleges, academies, and schools to tackle a vital goal: aligning church policies with national laws. Under the theme "Harmonizing Governmental Laws and SDA Policies," attendees worked on creating updated institutional handbooks to protect and guide their organizations.
