Leadership Dedicated for Service

The OneVoice27 Initiative was officially launched by the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) Communication Department in the Central Mindanao Mission in Valencia City on March 5-6, 2026. This initiative aims to develop effective strategies for identifying mission targets by utilizing both digital platforms and the church's regular evangelistic programs. The goal is to present a unified message clearly and precisely.

The Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) provided relief assistance to 250 families hit hard by Typhoon Basyang, which struck Iligan City on February 5–6, 2026. The relief effort took place on March 3, 2026.

About 1,300 church leaders and Care Group leaders from three provinces gathered for the Mission Reach: Care Group Empowerment Seminar, a joint initiative of the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference and the Northeastern Mindanao Mission. The event served both as an orientation to the Southern Asia-Pacific Division’s quinquennial theme “Mission Reach” and as an empowerment seminar designed to equip church leaders to strengthen and multiply Care Groups as centers of discipleship and mission.

The REACH 2026 Seminar and Orientation finished strong, leaving a clear message: everyone has a role in the mission. Organized by NDR/IEL with the Sabbath School and Personal Ministries, Youth Ministries, and Elders, the one-day event showed that reaching every neighbor and every community starts with one person saying yes.
