Long before their names appeared on the list of Bukidnon’s most outstanding private-school teachers, they had already been doing the work of guiding learners, leading beyond the classroom, pursuing professional growth, and turning education into ministry.

On September 11, 2026, that service received wider recognition as three Adventist educators representing the elementary, junior high school, and senior high school levels were honored at the First Bukidnon Educators’ Congress at the Bukidnon Sports and Cultural Complex in Laguitas, Malaybalay City.

The Communications Department of the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) has embarked on an important field visit to various educational and medical institutions with a clear vision of using modern technology spiritual and evangelism enrichment. This initial strategic visit took place from June 29 to July 3, 2026, and included visits to health institutions and schools, including Adventist Medical Center in Iligan, Adventist Medical Center in Valencia, Lake View Academy, and Mountain View College Academy (MVCA).

To navigate the evolving landscape of modern learning while remaining deeply anchored in faith, education requires a bold and united vision. From June 21 to 24, 2026, the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC) brought this vision to life by hosting a transformative Joint Advisory Meeting for Basic Education. Guided by the theme, "Rooted in scripture, driven by mission. The journey to excellence in Adventist education," the event gathered a dedicated assembly of education directors, superintendents, and principals from as far as Surigao City to Mapun, Tawi-Tawi.
