Pastor Dan Palomares, the South Philippine Union Conference powerfully delivered his inspiring message during the Officers Convention of North Central Mindanao Conference at Villanueva Misamis Oriental on a bright Sabbath morning of February 19, 2022.


Cagayan de Oro City, PH – The South Philippine Union Conference (SPUC) has ended 2021 and welcomed the new year with a total of 80, 437 new family members added to the church. SPUC, the Mindanao church region of Seventh-day Adventists that comprises six missions and two conferences, has baptized almost twice of the goal set for the entire 2021.


The Dedication and Prayer for leaders and officers of NEMM was held at the Conference Hall of the regional office of the SDA church in Caraga Region last Feb. 7, 2022. The said program was attended by the SSD President - Pr. Samuel Saw, SSD Vice President for NDR/IEL - Pr. Roger Caderma, accompanied by the AWR President - Pr. Robert Dulay together with their team. SPUC President - Pr. Danielo Palomares as well as Pr. Heshbon Buscato, SPUC Exec. Sec. also took part on the said event.


Cagayan de Oro City- The directors and officers of the North Central Mindanao Conference and South Philippine Union Conference are charged and on fire to begin their duties and functions as the representatives for Christ in their respective territories as they were charged and installed officially by no less than the President of Southern Asia Pacific Division, Pastor Samuel Saw. The Consecration and Installation Ceremony were held in SPUC Garden Church on February 7, 2022.


After thorough deliberation and prayers, the Executive Committee of the South Philippine Union Conference acted and voted Pastor Roxie Joy Pido and Pastor Demetrio Taotao as the Communication Director and 1000MM Coordinator, respectively. The meeting was held virtually last January 31, 2022.


The Adventist Youth, the Secretariat, the Health, the Women’s, Children’s, and Stewardship Ministries of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in South Philippine Union Conference started the first Departmental Council Meeting this week to set the tone of programs and services of the current year.
